Leonid Stargazing at the Farm

Join us to view one of the biggest meteor showers of the year at the farm with local astronomer and author Stephan Martin. All ages are welcome and no background in astronomy or science is required.

Late Summer Stargazing at the Farm

We’ll gather under the last evening skies of summer to observe the night sky and its wonders. Local astronomer Stephan Martin will give a tour of the stars and constellations of the summer sky while discussing some of their myths and the astronomical phenomena happening at this time. We may even see a few Taurid meteors cross our skies! All ages are welcome and no background in astronomy or science is required.

Moon Gazing Party

Join us for a celebration of our beautiful moon as we explore all things lunar in this star- and moon-gazing event. We’ll explore the features of the first quarter moon through a small telescope and also discuss the past, present and future history and theories about the moon. We’ll discuss this spring’s Blue Moon coming up on May 18th and what that means as well. Please bring binoculars if you have them. All ages are welcome and no background in astronomy or science is required.

Spring Equinox Stargazing Party
