Thank you for choosing Hickory Nut Gap Farm as your meat provider. When buying from Hickory Nut Gap Farm it is important to know that our prices are based on the average weight of the meat. These weights vary by individual package by tenths to one hundredths of a pound. Shipping and handling are additional charges to the product prices listed on the website. Your credit card is charged at the time you place your order. Please select the next day shipping option if you are beyond our one day shipping zone. All credit card information is kept private within our company for one week. After 7 days your card information is automatically deleted from our system. We accept only Mastercard and Visa.

The information collected on this website is used exclusively to (1) accurately identify you as a valued customer in order to fulfill all of our services both online and offline, (2) enable the processing of your payment via this web interface and (3) expand our own private mailing list.
It is NOT our policy to rent or sell our customer list or phone numbers to any outside companies. While checking out of our shopping cart, this site operates from a secure server and all personal information is encrypted.
You may cancel your order, by phone call only, up to 24 hours after you have placed your order online. After this period of time, your order will be processed via the credit card information provided and shipped as planned.
Hickory Nut Gap has an unconditional commitment to our customers. If our meat products do not meet or exceed your expectations we ask that you contact us so we can instruct you on how to return the un-used product for a full refund of the product within 10 days of purchase.We offer this guarantee because of our confidence in the products we provide.
Our shipping days are Monday and Tuesday of each week. We use UPS as our shipper.
If ordering from an area that will take longer to ship by ground than one day, other shipping options will be stated to the customer at checkout and used upon request. These may include Overnight Air, Next Day, and do have higher cost associated with them. Choosing a method of shipping with an appropriate time frame to get perishable product to your doorstep in a timely manner is our goal. If we see that you have chosen a method that is not suitable we will contact you to discuss further options and whether or not you would like to expedite your shipping procedure.
Our product is packaged in reusable styro-foam chests with Gel Pacs or Dry Ice. To insure that your order arrives in top condition before the weekend, we always ship on Monday and Tuesday for next day delivery, especially in the warm months of the year. See the UPS map shown below to determine your shipping schedule.
You may order via the online shopping cart seven days a week, but orders will be sent on Monday and Tuesday. You may also pick up your order directly at the farm store Wednesday through Friday from 1-5pm and Saturday 10-5pm.
