Seasonal Internship 2013
Where: Hickory Nut Gap Farm
Job Title: Seasonal Intern
Full Time Position: approximately 40+ hours/week, Tuesday-Sunday. $700/month stipend and housing. Electric and internet service included. 15% store discount and employee meat freezer access.
Job Description: Primary Responsibilities: Assisting Farm Store manager in farm store sales, attending farmers markets, receiving and organizing meat, helping customers, running the register. Possibility of helping with field trips and other seasonal activities. Assisting Farm Manager with livestock, fencing, apples, berries, and mushrooms, primarily in summer months.
