Birthday Parties

A wonderful place for the active, creek loving little one and a great place to host their parents as well. The farm provides garbage and recyling containers, as well as, three picnic tables under our newly constructed open air party shed by the creek for a two hour period. You are encouraged to bring any table cloths, balloons, party favors etc that you would like. During your party we invite you to participate in the seasons farm activities such as visiting with the animals or going through the corn maze. All parking for birthday party events is in the parking lot field just adjacent to the site. Party Shed Rental Costs: $75. September & October Party Shed Rental: $75 + group rate admission fee for guests (party hosts do not have to pay admission).

Fundraisers, Rehearsal Dinners

Consider Hickory Nut Gap Farm for your next event. We have hosted nonprofit fundraiser meals for hundreds of folks and on farm dinners for fifty. There are two space options for your event down at the farm:the corral near the farm store or across the street by the creek. Our parking lot can handle about 70 cars maximum per event and we have a nice circle driveway to host buses. The event space rate is $500 per event, including electric and water use. Smoker rental is $100 per event.

Weddings at the Old Sherrills Inn

Have your wedding at the Historic Old Sherrills Inn, just two miles from Hickory Nut Gap Farm store. Please call Annie or John Ager at 828-628-2616 or 828-273-6236. Smoker rental $100 per wedding.

HNGF Camp

Annie Ager and Susie Hamilton operate Hickory Nut Gap Farm Camp, this is a summer day camp that is independent of the Farm business. I speak from experience that your your children will surely enjoy it and sleep a good 10 hours each night after all the fun they have! Check the camp website for all the good info you need to sign them up.
