Tours...educational fun for the kids.
Our goal is to create a hands- on agricultural learning environment at the farm by incorporating a Corn Maze, pumpkin patch, and our cows, pigs and chickens into farm based lessons specific for each grade level. We are confident we will create a memorable experience for each child.
We invite public, private, and home school groups to participate. The tour experience is geared towards third through fifth grades and we cover material that meets standard course of study objectives for NC teachers. It is preferable that you bring 30-60 students although we are flexible. Below you will find the specific objective covered for each grade, sample lessons, and a list of what to bring.

Please contact farm@springhousemeats.com or 828-628-1027 to schedule a tour. Tour dates are Monday through Fridays during the months of September and October and by special appointment.
