1. 10% off your meat purchases at the farm store February 3rd-
6th. Stop by and warm up by the woodstove, the roads are plowed. You
won't want to miss this sale. We are open from 1-5pm Wed- Sat.
2. Sweet Steak Pack Special. Our way of doing Valentine Days-and the
Super Bowl- STEAK. Of course, you can have chocolate for dessert! 10lb
steak pack for $125. Includes four 8oz tenderloins, 3lbs of Ribeye, 3
lbs of NY Strip, 2 lbs total of Sirloin/Skirt/Flat Iron/Flank.
Selection within the steak pack is based upon your preference and
availability. Large availability of fresh steaks too!

5. Cattle Herd Returns. Back to farm news...our soon to calve mama
cows are making their way back from our Rutherford County land to
Fairview where they have 30 acres of stockpiled fescue just waiting to
be eaten! We will be seeing happy kicks from the ladies soon enough
and are anxiously awaitinh the arrival of our first baby calf of 2010.
6. Plans for 2010. Other plans for 2010 include planting blueberries.
We are making soil preparations and getting our shovels sharpened for
the inaugural planting of 500 blueberry bushes. Sorry folks no berries
this year for the picking but keep us in mind in years to come.
7. A Benefit for the Lords Acre, our local community garden that
supports Food for Fairview with fresh vegetables, is hosting Mary
McCaslin in concert Details Below.
When: February 20th at 7:30 P.M.
